Just a gentle reminder to those concerned...it was
pointed out that certain members are not following the guide
lines set out by the BMFA and are common sense really...
Starting your Heli...
Have the transmitter next to you, not on a
chair/toolbox/table 5 feet away, if something happens its
too far to reach. Common Sense!!
Hold the head while starting, if you need help so you can
start you heli then ask....Common Sense
Don't start your heli then leave it running, while you
retrieve your transmitter from the chair/toolbox/table 5
feet away... anything can happen, and you have turned you
back on the heli, leaving it running and unattended in the
pits.
Throttle Hold... Set it so it works, use it while
carrying your heli to the take-off area.
And please take another look at the flying areas, don't
be lazy, walk to the bottom of the field for anything more
than small circuits. and there are still flyers flying
towards the pits / road..
